This is my third ice fishing kid print. The first one was “Fishing in Father’s Footsteps” printed in 1994 and the second was “Northern Tike” printed a few years after that. They are both pictured here on my website. Both prints sold out fairly soon, but I still have a few artist’s proofs available. I think “Nibble ‘n’ Jig” is actually the best of the three, with more detail and more going on in the painting.
People have shared that these paintings remind them of their own kids, grandkids or themselves as youngsters. This makes me, as an artist, very happy to evoke such feelings! I hope you enjoy your print!
